- 4 pork chops
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 potatoes, peeled and cut into thick slices
- 1 cup water
- salt and pepper to taste
The instruction how to make Grandmothers Pork Chop Dinner
- Place the bacon in a large, deep skillet considering a lid, and cook exceeding medium-high heat, turning occasionally, until cooked through but not crisp, virtually 6 minutes. sever the bacon from the skillet and set aside to cool. Chop into small pieces.
- Sear the pork chops until browned re each side.
- Place the pork chops, bacon, onion, and potato slices into the skillet, and pour the water on top of higher than the ingredients. Cover the skillet, bring to a boil exceeding medium heat, reduce the heat, and simmer until the potatoes are tender, roughly more or less 30 minutes. Sprinkle gone salt and pepper, and serve.
