  2. 4 pork chops
  3. 1 onion, sliced
  4. 3 potatoes, peeled and cut into thick slices
  5. 1 cup water
  6. salt and pepper to taste

The instruction how to make Grandmothers Pork Chop Dinner

  1. Place the bacon in a large, deep skillet considering a lid, and cook exceeding medium-high heat, turning occasionally, until cooked through but not crisp, virtually 6 minutes. sever the bacon from the skillet and set aside to cool. Chop into small pieces.
  2. Sear the pork chops until browned re each side.
  3. Place the pork chops, bacon, onion, and potato slices into the skillet, and pour the water on top of higher than the ingredients. Cover the skillet, bring to a boil exceeding medium heat, reduce the heat, and simmer until the potatoes are tender, roughly more or less 30 minutes. Sprinkle gone salt and pepper, and serve.
